Plan Pay Options

Monthly Home WarrantyTM residential service plans offer a choice of pay plans from monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and yearly pay plans that provide prices that fit every homeowner's budget. Monthly, quarterly and semi-annual recurring-pay plans are one year contracts that can be renewed annually.

Plan Customization

Monthly Home WarrantyTM provides extensive customization capabilities so only the coverage that is needed can be easily selected in the plan. The customization includes a base coverage plan plus optional items which can be chosen individually. This gives the flexibility to choose only the coverage that is necessary.

Base Coverage
The base plan covers the major household systems and appliances that are a part of every home. These include the following:

  • Heating Systems
  • Air Conditioning or Cooler Systems
  • Water Heaters
  • Internal Plumbing System
  • Internal Electrical System
  • Ductwork
  • Dishwasher
  • Range/Cooktop/Oven
  • Built-in Microwave

Options
The optional coverage items give the flexibility to choose only the coverage that is needed for items that are in the home. These individual options can be selected on top of the base coverage plan and together make up the customized plan. The available optional items include:

  • Washer & Dryer
  • Kitchen Refrigerator
  • Ice Maker
  • Freezer
  • Trash Compactor
  • Swimming Pool
  • Spa
  • Well Pump
  • Septic System

Coverage

Single family, condominiums, townhouses or mobile homes built on a permanent foundation less than 5,000 square feet are eligible for coverage. Coverage is for parts and labor to repair or replace the systems or appliances that are included in the plan. There is a one-time $75 service fee per covered repair and there are no other deductibles aside from the service fee. If the covered system or appliance cannot be repaired or is more economical to replace, we will replace the item. All equipment models are eligible regardless of age and no home inspection is necessary to begin coverage.

Coverage Dates

Coverage begins 30 days after the purchase date of the home warranty plan and continues for a term of one year from the purchase date. Plans can be renewed annually, and if renewed during the term of the existing contract, there is no 30 day waiting period for the renewed plan.

Insurance

Monthly Home WarrantyTM residential service plans are fully insured up to a maximum benefit in the aggregate of $5,000 within the immediate past 12 months of the coverage period. Additionally, maximum coverage for specific systems are as follows:

  • $1500 for all primary Heating Systems
  • $1500 for all primary Air Conditioning or Cooler Systems
  • $500 for Ductwork
  • $500 for Internal Plumbing
  • $500 for all primary Water Heaters
  • $1,000 for Septic System
  • $1,500 for Swimming Pool or Spa

Cancellations & Transfers

Monthly Home WarrantyTM Residential Service Plans can be cancelled at any time during the term of the contract. If cancelled within the first 30 days, a full refund will be issued. After 30 days, a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the payment amount will be issued, minus an administrative fee of $25 and any claims paid to-date. The residential service plan can be transferred to a new owner of the covered location, during the term of the contract, by calling us.
